Different Styles Of Upright Vacuums

When it comes to vacuum cleaners the two main kinds of upright cleaners are models that need bags and those that don’t. These two styles of vacuum cleaners work pretty much the same but differ in the types of filtration systems they have on board. Filters are in regards to the separation of dirt from air as the air is forced through the filtration system. You can browse bissell vacuum cleaners for more info on these types of cleaners and read various vacuum cleaner reviews.

Vacuums that employ bags have a system where the dirt is picked up from the carpet and the bag allows air to pass right through and traps the dirt in the bag separating the debris from the air. Vacuum cleaner bags are typically constructed out of a layered paper that is statically charged to be a magnet for dust. These filter bags have the ability to remove microscopic organisms from the air which preserves the immediate breathing environment. The terrific feature about these bags is that no matter how much dust you are sucking they’re guaranteed to trap up to 95% of the debris moving through the vacuum filtration system. The downside to filter bag vacuums is the actual price of the bags themselves.

Cyclonic as well as bagless vacuum cleaners use almost the same system as the bags but instead use a dust canister to ensnare the dirt. Once the debris is trapped, the canister can be simply removed and emptied. In cyclonic vacuum cleaners the motor creates a vortex within the canister. As the dust and air are sucked up the heavier particles move to the outside and are deposited to the bottom of the canister. The fresh air then travels through the motor and out the exhaust. Cyclonic vacuums are terrific for usual cleaning conditions but can have troubles in very dusty environments.

HEPA vacuum cleaners use a filter that can operate at 99.97% efficiency and remove the tinyest particles from the air. These kinds of cleaners are used to maintain optimum inside quality of air where it is needed. HEPA vacuum cleaners come in many types including upright vacuum cleaners, back pack vacuums and wet dry vacuums. HEPA cleaners are perfect for final construction cleanup where dust is an issue or clean rooms where constant clean air is necessary. HEPA cleaners are the ideal vacuum if you have allergy problems as they cut down allergen levels up to 50%. One downside to HEPA cleaners is the price of the filters.
