Fully Leveraging The World Wide Web To View Cheap Films

I find it sad that so few web citizens know the full breadth of entertainment options that have become available on the Web. With a couple clicks of a web user’s mouse she can go from finding that nostalgic childhood tv show through streamed video to watching dozens of television networks from half way around the world. Desire to view what they’re watching right now in Japan or France? Indeed you can do it now!

And with just a couple clicks further of a mouse you can watch free movies online in the form of the latest blockbusters to curious indie films you will not find in most DVD retailers. And I’m not discussing low-quality YouTube videos either.

From sometimes sketchy websites streaming tons of fine quality shows to perfectly legitimate and easy-to-use services from major companies like Netflix and Amazon, it is now super quick and easy to watch movies on the internet. All you need is an always-on broadband internet connection and a relatively modern web browser. I recommend having either Firefox 3 or 2 and Internet Explorer 6 or 7. While I prefer Firefox, some services like Netflix still require Internet Explorer to view their internet videos.

It is also possible for you to download free online movies, but be careful where you go to find these movies. There is a phenomenon called BitTorrent which makes it remarkably easy to download hundreds of high quality shows… but in most cases this is illegal.

It is so easy that many people innocently fall into this sort of piracy, so be very cautious with such tools and web sites. Note that this technology involves an automated sharing technology where what you start to download is automatically uploaded and shared with others even before you have finished downloading, so you may believe you are not distributing copyrighted material but in fact you are, so be attentive! Do not steal!

I recommend services like Amazon Unbox and CinemaNow. These are legitimate and established services which make it possible for you to download and view huge numbers of top quality films for a tiny negligible monthly cost.

I hope this helps to open your eyes to the many cost-effective and fun methods to use the World Wide Web to discover and enjoy a wide assortment of films. So go forth and enjoy!
