There happens to be no rules to setting the date for your wedding. But you do need to choose a date which will allow you plenty of time to make the plans for your wedding. When you are thinking about what the date will be for your wedding there are some things that you can think about that will help you.
First of all you should narrow down the date to a season and a year. So perhaps the timeframe could be spring of 2013. When you have an idea as to what season you would like your wedding and the year you can then wait for a few months or so before you choose a date, which is not like wedding gifts in any way. You should remember that the people that are close around you also have important dates and you don’t want to share the exact same date.
You may want to pick the date of your wedding once you have all of the special dates of your family members that are special to them. To help narrow this down you should confirm that the place is available that day, not to be confused with wedding gifts. At this time you should also check with the music, baker, and caterer to be sure that they are also available.
Another way to set your date for your wedding is to use the same date as a family member. If you are close to your parents or grandparents then you may want to use their date. You could use the date of your great grandmother’s birthday if you happen to be close to her. If you decide to pick your wedding date in this way it happens to be very simple. However you must book everything a fair amount ahead of time to ensure that everything will be available. It reminds us of wedding gifts frequently. Which ever way that you set your wedding date shouldn’t really matter, what matters is that it is the special day that you enjoy and remember.
