The Home Automation Future is Here
Ever think about what watching a television was like before there was such a thing as a remote control? Me either, but it probably wasn’t a whole lot of fun. We now take it for granted that we can control our TV’s, even our whole home theatre system with surround sound using one small device without getting off of our couch. It’s just the way things are now, a way of life. Technology has already taken this concept much further and soon it will be common place for us to be able to control anything in our house from anyplace on the planet. Every system and appliance in home can be told what to do, when to do it and how long to do it for with the new breakthroughs in home automation.

Even though this sounds like something from the future, home-automation has actually been around for decades. The big changes in today’s world are broadband internet, home networking and consumer electronics that are preset to use home automation systems. Now we can tie all of these systems together and make life easier and more fun for us all. Companies like Control 4 are spearheading a fast growing industry and it won’t be long before people are asking… “Ever think what having a house that wasn’t automated was like?”

Home automation can currently control anything you can imagine like lighting systems, appliances, heating and air conditioning, security systems, entertainment systems, telephones, intercoms and even things like lawn sprinklers and window shades.
Find out more about options and pricing from your local home automation dealer and it won’t be long before your laying on the beach and adjusting the thermostat in your home or recording your favorite television programs for when you return home.
